Senior IT Security Audit/Consultant - Leading Accounting and Consulting Firm (East Peoria, IL) in Peoria, Illinois For Sale

The Senior IT Security Consultant will provide our financial institution, healthcare and commercial clients with a variety of services including risk assessments, security assessments/audits, internal control reviews and other IT security related projects. You will work on a team with our talented professionals while advising our clients on industry specific issues. Candidates with technical capabilities and desire will be trained to perform vulnerability/penetration testing.
Requirements
Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in IT security or technical experience and a Bachelors Degree in information technology or a related field. Excellent communication and writing skills and the ability to work independently are necessary for success in this position.
Prior experience in a professional services capacity and some IT technical skills are preferred.
A CISSP and/or CISA certification or other network and security certifications are a plus.
Candidates must be open to overnight travel. Opportunities to travel nationwide occur occasionally.
